Promotion

Efforts to improve and enhance nutritional status in the community and to promote health play a crucial role in preventing chronic diseases—the primary cause of the disease burden in our country—and in ensuring a healthy aging process. As the importance of nutrition—in growth, development, the maintenance of lifelong health, the improvement of quality of life, and the treatment of health problems—has become increasingly recognized, the need for dietitians, who are key members of the healthcare team, has also grown. Today, dietitians play a major role in the protection, improvement, and maintenance of public and individual health.

OUR MISSION

To educate dietitians who, grounded in the fundamental principles and approaches of the science of Nutrition and Dietetics, possess a sense of scientific, ethical, and professional responsibility, embrace lifelong learning, and are capable of contributing to the protection and promotion of individual and public health.

To be a department that keeps pace with current scientific developments in the field of Nutrition and Dietetics, prioritizes interdisciplinary collaboration, is nationally recognized for its education, teaching, and research activities, and adds value to society.
